no. why would you think Nintendo would put the bare minimum into their multiplayer game on their family-focused game console? clearly the solution is to instead make you buy 2 Switchs, 2 games, and 2 online services (but you can save BIG with their family membership)

man they really fell off too huh?, my switch gets no play with 2 kids in the house and my ps5 is a dvd player. EDIT: i remember splatoon 2 I was amazed it had no co-op, didn't even check, booted it up and 1 player. Did all gaming execs get an order 66 to kill gaming?

Splatoon 3 is an amazing game. I've put more hours into it than TOTK. It's a great alternative to other popular online shooters with lots of one-player content, including online co-op mode Salmon Run. For $40, if you haven't tried it, go for it. It also has a Switch 2 visuals upgrade.

Facts I love it and I got last year right after they did the 4k switch 2 update.
