That being said you can get a set of impact socket adapters if you want, and they do work. I have Harbor Freight Hercules brand but Milwaukee Shockwave is only $11 for 3pc kit of 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" if you wanted a name brand matching one. https://www.homedepot.c
Then you would get any decent impact sockets and go to town. They make non-marring ones for wheels depending on how worried you are about that. Gearwrench set here, $36: https://a.co/d/0gARhn9n or Walmart's Hart brand has one also, $25 https://www.walmart.com/ip/HART-1...ce1444fe71
The downside of this setup - you lose torque every time you add adapters and impact wrenches are already generally stronger than drivers. Drivers are cheaper and more versatile though, so you're not out of much if you want to try it. You may not be able to remove over-torqued lug nuts with a driver but you could break them loose by hand and still spin them off/on. A good impact driver can usually remove lug nuts, even though a lot of people will try to say you absolutely need an impact wrench.
For other general use, I have the DeWalt DWAFE100SET 100pc kit and no complaints, it's usually ~$40.
For most vehicles, you definitely don't need the big high torque. You'd be fine with even the 3/8" compact although if you don't need compact size, the 1/2" mid torque is more versatile.
