Be careful of the selenium content. 2-3 a day is the most you should aim for. I would recommend extra caution if you eat much pork, chicken or fish as they are all high in selenium. I personally avoid them as I eat a fair amount of pork and come back high on selenium testing.

Yes, it is possible to have too much selenium, a condition known as selenosis. While it is a necessary nutrient, excessive intake—usually from over-supplementation or, rarely, overconsumption of Brazil nuts—can lead to symptoms like garlic breath, hair loss, brittle nails, diarrhea, fatigue, and nerve damage.

Please explain what cupuacu is and does it taste good?
Cupuacu is a fruit from the Amazon region. The flavor is really unique.... sweet but a little acidic, and honestly kind of hard to describe. The closest comparison would be pineapple or passion fruit, but it still has a unique flavor. In Brazil, people often eat cupuacu with açaí because it helps balance out açaí's sweetness. I really like it, but I've been eating it since I was young, so I'm definitely used to the taste. I don't usually see castanha-do‑pará (Brazil nuts) paired with açaí and cupuacu, but since they all come from the same region, it makes sense.... and I'm sure it tastes good.
