This Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition stands out as a thin 15.3 inch laptop with a sharp 3K 120Hz touchscreen, strong battery life, and unusually good speakers and keyboard. The 32GB memory and Lunar Lake Core Ultra 7 chip make it feel fast for everyday work, and the screen is praised for looking close to OLED while staying easier on battery. It is not a 2 in 1, the RAM is not upgradeable, and heavier workloads or Chrome tab loads can expose limits. A solid portable all arounder if you want premium features without a bulky chassis.

  • Speakers and the Lenovo keyboard are reported to be strong for everyday use.

  • The laptop can deliver a full day of battery life depending on usage patterns.

  • The screen quality is described as close to OLED, with build quality that feels premium.

  • The 15.3-inch display size offers a middle ground between 14-inch and 16-inch laptops.

  • Open-box pricing can change quickly, and stock can be mostly out when the price returns.

  • Chrome can hang with fewer than 10 tabs, which may hurt day-to-day productivity.

  • The laptop uses a 2242 SSD form factor, which makes upgrades to larger sizes more difficult.

  • Shipped open-box purchases can be a gamble because the seller may not verify the correct model or grading.

Bought this a couple days ago. It was smudgy, but cleaned up nice. Battery had 10 cycles on it.
Here's a couple good things about it that aren't obvious: 1. It has charging ports on BOTH SIDES. Insanely underrated feature and the main reason I want this one 2. The speakers are fantastic, I've only ever heard high tier MacBooks with speakers this good. They're also upward facing so you don't feel like everyone but you can hear what you're playing 3. The keyboard backlight has auto mode. I don't know if it's reliable yet, but my goodness how did it take us this long to make that. 4. It has a presence sensor (so when you walk away it auto locks, when you come back it automatically starts the facial recognition) which I don't personally use, but I recognize is really cool to have in certain use cases

Sorry, price is now $1,199.99. Might be available by Ship to Warehouse or in your local warehouse but YMMV. Here's the link: https://www.costco.com/p/-/lenovo...?langId=-1
btw this is a different laptop technically. It's 14 inch and without the Yoga branding but same specs (except the screen). I got this used for $700. Its nice!

Shipping is a crap shoot. They don't even verify you're getting the right model with shipping let alone that it's graded correctly. I've had far worse luck with shipped open box than picking one up in-store.

This is basically my dream laptop. The only thing I would ask for is more ports, but it has the bare necessities. I bought an excellent condition one a couple days ago and got it yesterday. It was really smudgy, but cleaned up nice and has 10 cycles on the battery.

Agree with everything. I have the same laptop since last year and haven't touch my MacBook air.

Exactly; I wanted a versatile lightweight laptop with good battery that didn't sacrifice on processing power. I also wanted the ability to try various Linux distros as an attempt to finally leave Windows and MacOS behind. This laptop hit all the ticks so far and I'm extremely happy.

I was originally going to wait until my ARM Surface laptop finally got some love but I think that's 1-2 years out still if it even happens...

Trying to fire up this Lenovo to test on Windows was a painful reminder to why I'm leaving Windows. 5-10 minutes after initial boot and I was still waiting to get beyond the updates to login. Meanwhile I can install a complete distro in that time and be at desktop ready to use. I forced the laptop to power off ultimately, disabled secure boot, and formatted it.
