dont waste your time fellows. i checked- it was not BOGO for any item. If you buy a newer model, you get a refurbished 1st gen model for free.

I faced this issue when I tried on mobile browser, however I was able to select the free item on laptop

Very little difference. The Gen 1 got a firmware update (use the Bose app) that gave them a lot of the improvements, including much better mic quality for calls.
