Logitech recently had the G29 for $200 with the shifter for free but it was showing even lower in the cart and someone found that adding another item would bring it down even further. I got the G29, shifter and a USB cable for $165 + tax. https://slickdeals.net/f/19202200
That deal is dead now but if we're talking about how good this deal is, it definitely goes lower, with and without the shifter. Even Slickdeals' price history on this page shows it lower last November.

In case anyone is trying to figure out how to get this working with a Nintendo Switch, I got the G29 PS/Win/Mac version during the November deal and got the setup (haven't tried the shifter yet) working with a ReaSnow S1 usb hub from AliExpress. Took a lot of Internet forum searching, reading, and experimenting, but I can confirm it works for the Switch 2. The ReaSnow S1 costs almost as much ($125-150 depending on coupons and cashback) as the Logitech, but it's a great option for Switch owners who want something better than current OEM steering wheel options.
I would guess the XBox version would work similarly with the Switch as well. Tried the Logitech setup with one of the Need for Speed games and works well. Works with Mario Kart World but won't recommend it over a regular controller.

There are better systems out there, but this is a great price for anyone wanting to dip their toes into real racing.
