It should be known that chain pizza companies have a fixed amount of toppings they'll put on a pizza, and the amount of each individual topping goes down when you add more toppings. They measure and count each item.

A pepperoni pizza might have 40 pepperonis. A pepperoni and sausage might have 30 pepperonis. A 7-topping mashup might have 10.

So you do get more stuff overall if you add more toppings, but it isn't 7x. It's more like 7x 20% of what you'd expect for each topping.

Obviously they're cheap, but also pizzas don't bake very well if they're weighed down by an entire kitchen sink of toppings. Better to skimp and keep it edible rather than deliver the meat mountain you want, then have to refund you because it's under baked and inedible.

I was just reminiscing of the $5 medium 2 topping that I would demolish regularly in college.

100% false lmao
more toppings =/= less toppings! The chefs use plastic measuring cups like for every recipe
No, he's about right. Check out the portion chart yourself - there's one available at this link. A large 1-topping pepperoni for example gets 40 slices - a large 4+ topping with pepperoni gets 24 slices. A large 1-topping sausage gets 5oz of sausage. A large 4+ topping with sausage gets 2 oz of sausage.

I like Dominos pizza but damn it's so salty. My cholesterol is getting up there so I have to be mindful of what I eat now.

You can select extra sauce. Its not treated as a topping so should not cost extra.

Only negative is some do ok with the sauce and some less than. So if you get someone good then extra may be to much.
Extra sauce is now extra at my local Domino's. I like heavy sauce on my pizza. They never used to charge extra, now they do. I guess maybe it depends on the local franchise.

not sure if it's just me or for everyone, but when I went to order, there was a "Deal" for large 2 toppings for 6.99. Seems like a better deal since most of my pizza were only two or three toppings anyhow. Steak, onion, and mushroom, or chicken, bacon, ranch.

Man that sucks.
Mine does not but does treat cheese toppings as double now.

Dominos should make this more obvious as it affects how people see their product.

Can anyone confirm this can be used more than once? Usually I use deals like this on multiple days, but the recent similar deal disappeared from my app after I used it.

i'm guessing this is to compete with pizza huts $10 deal going on right now, although i got sent a free 1 topping large coupon after ordering it last week!
Other way around, Pizza Hut's deal is trying to compete with Domino's as this isn't the first time they've had this promotion.

Domino's is the better option in terms of taste, though.
