Talk about taking your customers for granted.
""We learned that 60% of our core users are over $100,000 a year in income, in average household income. That gives us confidence that we can lean into that group in a more meaningful way — to really drive meaningful transaction performance in the year," he said in leaked audio of the call, according to Yahoo Finance."
what a fun way to look at it.
For what it's worth, he did try to walk it back, a bit: https://finance.yahoo.c

In my area, chips and queso blanco is $4.65 and that is the regular. Chipotle's website and app are good at detecting if one puts a large chips and queso, guac, or salsa (this combination with chips is the cheapest, $2.90 in my area for any variation of salsa) and/or buying the items separately and thinking it is a combo.
So if one is buying a full entree, burritos in my area start at $9.35 for a veggie; it would be 2x the value of this offer. I looked up tacos and they also start at the same price. If anyone can find an entree item that can beat the price of a burrito, let us know.
From what I see, they are able to recoup the cost of the offer and give you maybe 50% off on an entree.
I would rather see BOGO chips and queso blanco or chips with other side or (which is a bit rarer), the price of the entree is cheaper than the offered item(s) (basically an any purchase type deal).
First, know the delay of the time the app will put you at when you order, while being there (you place the order at 11:05a.m. and it states it will be ready at 11:20 a.m., when you are standing in line).
If you are meaning to be there because you want to keep pushing the employees to give you more in your bowl or intimidate them thinking they will put a "correct" amount, you can do that too.
It also depends when one works and the distance to a Chipotle. I could do this at like 11 a.m., if there was one close enough
