Wax tends to leave white residue, doesnt last as long as sealants, and not as easy to apply.
Havent used wax in years.

I followed the rules to the letter, and at first glance my red car looked good. But shifting glance to see how the light played off the paint, the streaks (smears) were very noticeable. You can't get rid of the streaks with a dry towel, instead you need to play around with a damp towel. It took a lot of extra time messing around reducing the streaking, and at that point I started to wonder how much product was even on the vehicle. I'll never apply this product again to my non-metallic bright red car. And I bet anyone who applies it to such a paint, I can point out the streaks they have left over.
On the other hand, I applied the product to my blue metallic Bronco to good effect. Because that paint hides streaks. I still had to spend longer than I liked going back over, rewetting slightly and getting rid of the streaks, but it did leave what seems to be a slick finish. You might not see the smearing until you shift your position so the sunlight is glancing off the panel at a certain angle, and then you will think bloody hell.
