I use the white version frequently during flights and generally like how it functions. However, there is one major flaw: the blue ring constantly blinks during use. In a dark airplane cabin, it is eye-blindingly bright and distracting. I actually had to cover mine with black tape so I wouldn't bother the passengers around me.

Wrong, it's saying "INCOMPATIBLE with AirPods Pro 2 AND AirPods 4 AND AirPods 4 ANC" (there are two versions of AirPods 4), but I believe that whole disclaimer was meant for an older version of the product that only supported Bluetooth 5.2, and they just forgot to remove it when they updated the product to support Bluetooth 6. There are multiple 2025 reviews stating that it works with AirPods Pro 2, and one specifically says that ANC works with AirPods Pro 2. If the device connects to AirPods Pro 2 and sends audio to them, then I don't see how ANC wouldn't work, as ANC is a function of the AirPods that has nothing to do with the incoming audio... you can use ANC on AirPods regardless of whether anything is connected or whether anything is playing, and I have never encountered a scenario where they wouldn't let me turn on ANC.

I've had the black airplane BT transmitter for over 2 years. I has been handy whenever I fly. I've paired them with regular headphones and Shokz (not a great listening experience in a plane with those) and both paired with no issues once I figured out how the pairing works. Battery lasts a while, even after not using the thing for over a year, I was able to watch 3.5 hours worth of movies.
You ever try using earplugs when using the Shokz? They work pretty well for listening over traffic when I wear them for a run.

Has anybody tried the USB-C Bluetooth Adapter/Transmitter with APTX? I'd like better latency and mic quality from BT audio than I can get out of my PC's regular bluetooth stack, but the reviews seem kind of a mixed bag.
