Same; came here to see comments. Our dogs don't like warm water, mostly dogs would love normal cold water.

Lmao it's for use during winter time. I use one for chickens. Think outside the box a little. 😂

Why did they put frost on the edges in the stock photo?

If it's that cold out - bring your pets inside !
Might be good for the birds - our birdbaths freeze over.

I love these outdoor water bowls for our backyard wildlife. I have 5. Our deer, birds and squirrels, etc, have no water source during our harsh winters. Water temp stays just above freezing and light frost can develop around the edges when below zero temps. Thank you for this post.

its weird because some ppl only use 5% of their brain and don't do research like they should. i just bought a back up one, we just went threw freezing temps and my dogs water would have been frozen if i had of not gotten a warming bowl and for the people who don't understand how things work the water WILL NOT BE WARM like you thinking, it will be below warm but not super cold i would know because i put my finger in it my 2 german sheps had cool water the entire freeze and stayed hydrated because of bowls like this so if you got a outside pet this bowl ensures they stay hydrated all winter
