$20 less than the popular price last week. PPI pretty poor at this amount, but generally this is more of a small TV than a monitor and unsure if you'll find something similar in this price range otherwise.

Yeah, 1080p kinda kills it. I'm sure there's a use case for those, but man, my eyes would bleed if I used it as a monitor for work

Would this make a decent spare bedroom tv? Most 32" cheap tvs are only 720p

Of course it will be a good 32" TV, question is, is that big enough anymore unless you are literally sitting right in front of it or maybe in an RV?

It will be a fine bedroom TV. More than a few feet away and the difference between 1080p and 4K is very hard to tell at this size. The only caveat is that, due to its slim, monitor form factor, it's probably going have terrible built-in speakers. So you'll probably want to use a small sound bar with it.

Why would I buy this when you could just get a 43-inch 4K TV for like $30 more?

Most can't put a 43" TV in their kitchen (for example) so something like this works better. Also, these are generally much thinner than TV's which again, makes them perfect in use somewhere like a kitchen. Ignoring the base, this is only 1.6" thick while something like the Insignia 4K 42" tv is 2.9" thick. Not trying to sell you on this TV/monitor - just giving the use cases for it.

I bought this a few weeks back and it is a great option for a monitor or second screen at my garage workbench.
