I recently bought a Fluke NCV as part of their circuit tracer kit*, and the Klein is better. The Fluke is dual purpose (also the circuit tracer), so that could be part of it. It was giving me a weird reading on a cold outlet, but the Klein read it as dead.
*Works great, saved me lots of time recently.
