ive had both, it isn't. at the midrange, samsung is much better. at high end (g5 vs s95f), it's a toss up but I'd go with g line because of the nerfed hdmi 2.1 port on the samsung

Have this TV after reading endless reviews on the S90F and C5 and staring at them side-by-side in my local Costo (not ideal viewing conditions but enough to gauge reflection handling). It's a magnificent TV for the $$ and I have no regrets. Anything better would've cost substantially more.

I got that price last month but now I can't replicate it. No free TV either.

I agree that the s90F looks better than lgc5 I'd consider adding warranty if worried about it lasting 5 years or more. Especially at this price .G5 is closer to qdoled colors brighter and glossy so it is better than this tv and for some better than the s95F

did you have the problem with firmware updates? I loved my S90F until firmware messed up the picture quality?

Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision, which seems to be the drawback

I got this TV on the last deal before the Super Bowl and I was debating between this and the C5. I couldn't decide until this deal hit and I haven't regretted the purchase. Picture has been great and the extra TV is still sitting in the box as I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.
