Many reviews complain about the dysfunctional claw. Without it working properly, this is just a pack of 8 mini figurines in a plastic gift box shaped like a claw machine.

It's not - my kid loves it. The gifts are hard to grab but they can actually be grabbed. It's cheap junk obviously but my 7 year has been playing with it constantly.
