Neither 144 nor 180 is that weird. Standard refresh rates are 24Hz and 30hz. 144 and 180 are multiples of both, respectively (at a 6x multiplier).

What's actually more frustrating is that neither 140 nor 180 divide evenly by both 24 and 30, meaning that 24 or 30FPS content will look suboptimal on one or the other.

The solution to this is to use 120Hz or 240Hz monitors, where 24 and 30 FPS content will be displayed properly.

For gaming, all of the above is a non-issue.

From what research I've done, there is a firmware update that allows 1.4 DP which means 180hz 10 bit. The stand part I agree with, but mounts and adjustable/rising desks exist as well.

Okay deal I think the panel used is the same one as other OLED monitors in this price range. I have the Aoc Agon Pro that uses the same samsung panel and its pretty great, but the agon pro comes with more features and is close in price on sale

Sucks cuz I just got this a week ago for the same price and it did not include the game. Chatting with Amazon now to see what they can do. If not, its gonna have to be a return and rebuy.

As for the monitor itself, it is decent for an OLED at the price.

Edit - Amazon offered a $69.99 promo credit onto my account as a courtesy so that I did not have to return and rebuy.

I think people are being a bit too harsh on this monitor. This is essentially a $300 QD-OLED monitor, yes it won't have the latest panel or the best stand but it will still blow away comparable IPS and VA panels for colors and response time. There isn't much competition for OLED monitors at this price....

Did anyone actually get the "Resident Evil Requiem" code from Amazon? It's been 72 hours, and I've contacted Amazon multiple times, and no one knows wth is going on.

Does the monitor purchase need to be redeemed via Samsung to obtain the code?
