$599 is a great deal as I have 48v charger already.
My problem is 108lbs. I have the Oupes 6000 and that's 111 lbs and I have a hard time moving that around.
Plastic version is like 80lbs and the rack version ~90lbs.

You want a metal case for fire protection and shielding. Batteries can get pretty hot.

Understood.
I like everything about the battery except for the weight.
I'm getting old and I would have problem lifting this thing.
I bought the Oupes 6000 and that's about the same weight and I had a difficult time getting into the back of my SUV.
Some of the rack 48v 100ah battery(which is also metal casing) is ~90lbs and I may be able to move that.
I'm really tempted by this as I been looking for a 48v 100a.
Some people have been saying this tested to 105ah.
Some of the other brand battery on Ebay in the same form factor do advertise these as 105ah so I tend to believe this is 105ah.
Yes exactly! This replaces your existing 6 batteries and provide more useable runtime.
Lithium's infinitely superior to lead acid, and one of my favorite ways that it's superior is that lithium doesn't lose power output as the battery discharges, aka voltage sag. So a lead acid battery at 50% charge is only putting out maybe 80% of its rated output, and at 25% charge you may have lost 50% of your power. Lithium essentially doesn't expense voltage sag, so at 5% charge you're getting 100% power.
I have this 48V battery* in my golf cart and it's been perfect. (*well, the 'DCHouse' labeled one, same company/battery)
Great deal. Good battery. Capacity wise you could get better cost per kWh but this thing has a 200a bms on a 100Ah battery. Generally the bms is 1:1 and this one is 2:1 it can also do 400a for 30seconds and 1000A for 1 second making this an excellent choice for a golf cart. Most come stock with a 200a controller but aftermarket's will be higher. My local courses are using 50Ah li ion Panasonics with a 200a bms. It keeps them light but only good for 1 round and then they slow down.
