I've had A-List for many years now and it's totally worth it. Four movies a week for $24 including IMAX, Dolby, 3D, etc. Before you start complaining about concession prices, just remember that you don't have to buy anything to see a movie.

I used to have A list before the pandemic but movies have gotten increasingly worse in quality since. I think I've seen maybe 3 movies since then that I actually wanted to pay money to go see in the theater. It's why I haven't renewed my membership.

Worth pointing out AMC gift cards cannot be redeemed towards A-List.

Well worth it if you go a lot, especially to premium formats. There's a number of special features/concerts also included. (Kiki's Delivery Service 4K remaster opening next month). Fathom events however are not included (recent LOTR showings).

The hard part is finding a movie worth 99 cents.

There's movies worth seeing coming out nearly every week... Especially when you don't have to pay per film, and the more you see the less each one costs.

If my AMC were a bit closer, I'd probably go way more often and sign up. Definitely worth it for even just 3 movies a month in my book.

I bought an AMC Godzilla 32oz plastic cup off ebay and just walk up to the freestyle machine and fill it up before my movie along with some snacks/sandwiches from home. I get shamed for being so 'cheap'

4 movies a week is too much. Many theaters don't even have four new movies per week. The previous 3 per week at lower price worked out better.

Use virtual card or prepaid card to pay for this and you don't have to pay the other two months at the regular price.

not to mention, if you leave in big city like me in NYC, AMC Empire 42 and Jersey Garden always have many international films.

Fun quip but I could probably find a movie in any given month worth $1. I don't think I could find enough movies worth $53 across three months to make it worth the commitment, rather than just buying deals from giftory when something does seem worth the time.

You're the rare consumer asking for less instead of appreciating the more given to you. 4 movies works out great for watching the same movie in 3D, IMAX etc.
