Just a heads up that this has PU/faux leather. It's a budget grade synthetic leather and is susceptible to cracking/peeling after a year or two of use. Probably not be a big deal for a $90 chair.

Is this good to use for working at a computer as more of an office chair than gaming?

good for folks with cats who destroy chairs every year or two is what im hearing. something decent is usually going to run atleast 2 - 300 so if this is comfortable im ok with a few years. thanks for sharing! i wish i could buy a nice chair but it would be toast in a matter of weeks with kitty claw marks. also, i see ones that are made with cloth that arent much more and probably going to try that.

Got one last week and it's a $90 gaming chair. Definitely worth $90. I opted not to put the foot rest on as I saw this breaking easily. Assembly was rather simple. Previous chair didn't have a head rest, so far I'm pleased with the purchase. Was actually able to get my HSA to cover this. Working on getting my sit stand desk covered as well. Worth checking into IMO

Really for $90 I thought it was Italian leather

I had an older version of these that I got from Newegg. I figured the footrest would never get used, but I was wrong. It was surprisingly comfortable for controller gaming sessions (not ideal for mouse/keyboard play).
Also, my smallest dog (about 12 pounds) loved it, as he'd curl up on it if I had the footrest out but took my legs off of it for a moment. Big Grin

The "foot rest" is two aluminum poles attached to the bottom of the chair with plastic brackets. My 13 year old son at about 160lbs broke these day one. The foot rest is not functional in any real world use. The chair itself is ok.

Bought a similar one to this for my wife. All I have to say is that your tush better be the size of a napkin to feet into this. 21" is not all that wide.

No. These budget faux leather chairs are not built for comfort or supporting your spine. Also they aren't very durable. Most people recommend a used office chair on FB Marketplace, Mercari, or Offerup from Herman Miller or Steelcase. Even the Staples Hyken is "decent" compared to this. If you choose to get a faux leather chair, at least get a cushion to protect it as much as possible from ripping.

21" wide seat is pretty standard. It's for a normal size "tush"
