The keyboard on this laptop sucks. Stay away if you do a lot of typing.

I bought the AMD version of this two months ago. It's a great device. While the keyboard is not its selling point it's also not that bad. Very adequate. I use a 75% low profile mechanical keyboard with it, so I don't care.

isn't the openclaw hype over since people have realized that you'll spend 500$ a day in tokens to run Opus (cheap models does not really work)?

absolutely do NOT run openclaw on this or any other machine unless you don't care about your own security at all.

rather odd recommendation to suggest running an AI agent for absolutely zero reason, as well.

I'm not an elite typist by any means (~130 wpm), but the HP keyboard design they have been using on their laptops is absolutely trash. The size of the keys throws my typing game so off that I end up typing like a 3rd grader. FYI, the key caps will break on you eventually.

Those models don't suck because of their size, they suck because they try to cram too much into them. Train your own model to do what you want it to do and you will likely get decent results for a specific task.

Haha, join the club. Haven't seen anything close to that deal since. Was a unicorn. Best I've seen now is the Acer refurbs on ebay but even those are slowly climbing in price, been watching them for nearly 3 months. I don't need a laptop, just want a backup.

I bought it late december as open box - excellent condition for ~420$. this is great price for this. have few drawbacks, but for the price its not a stopper.
keyboard typing experience is not good and fan noise also suddenly little high.
overall happy with the purchase. one more advantage with HP laptop, we can add "HP risk free coverage" - I added for around 230$ for 3 years extra accidental coverage. if we dont use it, we will get back that amount 100% back at end of 3 years.

do you or do I miss the point? OpenClaw does not function well with everything but Anthropics Tier 1 Model. As far as I know I cannot train closed models like Opus or GPT 5.2 and every other model just doesnt work well
