This ZenBook 14 stands out as a light 14 inch OLED ultrabook with a bright 500 nit display, strong travel friendly portability, and enough Intel Arc graphics for light gaming and editing. The metal chassis, vivid colors, and solid battery life make it appealing for work on the go. RAM is soldered, so upgrades are not an option, and the open box listings can arrive with dirt, missing chargers, or even BIOS locks that block changes. A better condition grade and a careful pickup check matter here.
Common Questions (5)
Excellent units are often the safer pick for about $40 more, but Best Buy open-box grading can be inconsistent. Fair can arrive nearly new, while Excellent can still show heavy wear or even be missing accessories like the charger.
The 14-inch OLED panel is bright at 500 nits with vivid colors, and the laptop is very light at about 2.82 lb. That makes it a strong ultrabook choice for travel and everyday use.
The Intel Arc graphics make it capable for light gaming, and the Core Ultra 7 255H is strong enough for video and audio editing. It is also favored over lower-power chips when performance matters more than battery-focused tuning.
No. The RAM is on-chip, so it is not upgradeable after purchase.
Not always. Some open-box units can have a password-protected BIOS that prevents disabling Secure Boot or changing BIOS settings, which can block Linux installs and may be hard to resolve after Best Buy's return window.

I'm just saying this goes down to $650 brand new. An open-box under $500 would be hot.
Not bad deal if you need now.

This thing is a true ultrabook. The chassis is metal, super light, super thin, the OLED screen is bright, the colors pop, AND you can actually game with the Intel Arc GPU. It's exactly what I was looking for, a light powerful laptop for when I travel.
