I want to hear from the people buying "fair" products with screens

Is the logic that you'll get as many "good" products mistakenly as I get "fair" when I order "excellent". Best Buy has a 50% fail rate the last three months for me and "excellent" mobos that arrive with bent pins or an aio that's missing mounting or an excellent gpu with no box or accessories

Im really interested in one of these. But not sure i would use it often. I figure i could sell my iPad and rog ally z1e. Maybe even one of my older gaming desktops (4770k/1080ti) as well. This would replace all 3. But still dont know how often I would use it. But still want it... haha

Bought one in Fair condition. Missing power adapter. Unit has a hairline crack on the plastic part that attached the screen. Will be returning this soon.

I would love the 128 Gig version, but sadly that is not sold in their stores.

you mean stocked in stores vs shipping? 128gb definitely available to ship and pick up in store https://www.bestbuy.com/product/a...JJGGLHC84R

Best Buys in my area will mark some items as 'fair' just to clear them out. I got a 'fair' Legion Go that looked like it was in perfect condition. I didn't even find any fingerprints on it.

This form factor is always a pain. Do people actually like the kickstand vs actual laptop form factor? I picked the X13 over the Z13 few years ago and absolutely love that tiny little thing. Kind of wish they kept that line going instead of switching to Px13 line which honestly felt like a downgrade.

The integrated GPU is comparable to a RTX 4060, but waay more efficient.

I don't like the kickstand however the tablet form factor is nice in that the air inlets are in the back (cannot be choked against flat surface) and the exhaust is through the top, which is optimal. This also means that the keyboard stays completely cool. When you compare this with 2-in-1 form factor like the X13 they have to operate in "tent" mode for optimal thermals, which stinks, and they have terrible thermals in tablet mode.

This was not available anywhere closest to me but there definitely are some units available for pickup at various stores. It's a good deal but a great deal if you need the RAM.

This exists because it's cheaper to produce (less manufacturing tooling, materials, and steps). It is indeed a downgrade, although not necessarily "intentional".

Yes, but the fact that it isn't available for the impulse buyers to get and return is less ideal. 😂
