I have a couple of ounces of kimchi with breakfast and 8 oz of kefir before bed, and my gut health has never been better. I can't recommend kefir and kimchi enough. Just make sure you get kimchi that must be refrigerated if you want probiotic benefits. The shelf stable kimchi does not have any living probiotics in it.

This probiotic supplement is supposed to be a good one, so if you prefer to solve gut flora issues with a pill, this seems to be a good option. One thing to note: inulin (one of the prebiotics found in this) is very fermentable, so it might cause you to feel some bloating at first.

I used to have some lactose intolerance symptoms and after a month of daily kefir I can easily consume dairy products again with 0 issues. A healthy gut microbiome is crucial because it acts as the body's central engine for maximizing nutrient absorption, regulating systemic inflammation, and powering the immune system to fight off illness.

I bought these before and they're okay. This brand makes a men's version with psyllium husk in it and that one actually made a noticeable difference for me.

If you let your child handle the capsule after they get back from daycare, you can double the cfu rating.
