nice for a single tower but its problem is that its too close in price to a thermalright dual tower.
edit just noticed price with coupon. i'd still go with a royal knight for 6 bucks more unless you're on a super budget

It's really hard to compete with Thermalright...

their story is actually pretty interesting. im more of a fan after i saw steve from gamers nexus interview them.
they are basically pc enthusiasts who design and own their own factories. ceo also said there's no big 3 it's just big me 🤣

I wish they would just remake the Cooler Master RR-UV8-XBU1-GP V8. It was the best looking cooler I ever owned.

If it's compatible with your setup and you haven't done an AIO cooler before, this is likely an upgrade.

I'll second the comments that imply ThermalRight are probably top of their craft. When I was into overclocking in the early 2010's, they had the best air based solutions for both my CPU and chipset.

I got this cooler for free and it was supposed to be an upgrade from the Scythe Grand Kame Cross v3, despite having less heatpipes. Apparently CM's patented 3DHP tech and the high performing ultra quiet Mobius fans are the reason for this.

Embarrassingly, I never got to use this on the system that would have replaced the Scythe cooler. Let's just say the "upgradable NUC-like" machine I own was never designed for enthusiast heatsinks to begin with.

I literally had to dremel an opening to accommodate for the Scythe cooler (heaps better performance than what would have fit inside! Before choosing to cut my case, a thermalright low profile cooler was the best option for my system! Take from that what you will-- they're really good at what they do), and unfortunately this cooler would not fit due to clearance space between bottom of the heatsink and my chassis. Even so, and even with stock fans, this would have performed better.

Honestly, both CM and TR are worthy of your cash. Scythe too, but in recent years they haven't kept up with competition.

All this said, if you're on a budget just get this CM cooler if you know it will fit in your case. The price to performance ratio is too hard to beat.
