8cr13mov is a darn good budget steel for $10, but the unspecified "stainless steel" always makes me hesitant. The D2 Hunter Lockback looks like the best buy of the bunch. A decent Stockman or slip joint for $10 ain't bad, even in a soft steel like 420 or 4cr.

If the bogo deal still stacks with the worksharp 20% code we might be looking at less than $5 per knife.
edit: Some on reddit reports models that's supposed to be D2 says stainless on the blade, so good idea to do the research and that's where you'll find the coupon code too.
edit2: no go on the BOGO, code WORKSHARP20OFF still works. Without it these actually cost more than before for the most part, since you might have already been looking atvsay $14 for two knives and it's 20% off of that. Guess they are trying to see if they can move more allowing for a single knife at a uniform price.

The Hunter Lockback is one of the ones that's supposed to be D2 but has stainless on the blade according to one of the Redditors of the KnifeDeals sub, just fyi. At one point they actually got more stock for ones that were sold out but since there's only a handful of models left I wouldn't count on that.

Help! I have the remington RI5739 https://www.bereli.com/r15736/ with the extra blades and via the website: An easy push button release makes swapping blades a quick and easy task. HA where is this push button?? By the way there are NO instructions included with these knives!
Received the "Remington Woodland Liner Lock Drop Point Folding Knife 3.5" Closed" It's a nice little knife. Around a 2 inch blade, comes pretty sharp. The packaging and website description are definitely wrong. It's a lockback. Unless there's a new type of liner lock which closes like a lockback (I don't think so, but i'm no expert).
Hope it helps.
