I've been really happy with Anker products I've bought in the past. A couple of them are probably 4-5 years old now and still going strong. I think I'm good on connectors, but I use a similar one (this one is a hub) from Anker and have been really happy with it

FYI, I bought this on the previous deal, but the HDMI "stick" is too long to fit properly in my TV HDMI ports, so I had to return it. It's also not a good design because the PD passthrough is on the HDMI stick, and that makes it harder to use. It would be better if they could put the passthrough on the connector that plugs into your device. And lastly, it didn't work for my iPad on any of my HDMI ports (YMMV), where-as a regular "hub" style HDMI adaptor works.
I think the idea is that you can connect it to a USB charger behind the TV, keeping the extra cable out of sight, then you only need to run a single cable to your device, instead of two.
How about a compatible USB-C hub that has passthrough charging, HDMI out, microSD slot, and at least one additional port? Lots of these hubs exist, but at least one feature seems to not work with any given phone. Usually, it seems to be the microSD.

Does not come with power charger. Had to ask several time before that Rufus admitted this. Misleading description and pictures. If I have to do research to find this fact, its misleading.
I like this product, currently using it. I am using a HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 with two DisplayPort outputs and two USB-C (DisplayPort Alternate capable). I suppose the Dock G2's current firmware does not allow DisplayPort A (28" 4k 60Hz monitor) and DisplayPort B (27" 1440p 75 Hz monitor) to run simultaneously. When both monitors are plugged in via DisplayPort, one of the monitors will display a black screen even though the monitor info (make, model) and resolution and refresh rate are being recognized by Windows 11 Display Settings. This started as an experiment and is currently my workaround: I disconnected the DisplayPort B and I tried this cable to connect the 27" 1440p monitor to the USB-C port (DisplayPort Alternate capable) and now I have dual monitors working and displaying an image correctly.
In another experiment, I connected a Motorla ThinkPhone with this Anker cable to an external monitor and got the Ready For desktop experience (similar to Samsung Dex) launched and it was nice to use when the phone is paired with bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
