This issue with a reboot is that Todd McFarlane wants to make a low budget movie where Spawn is the "boogie man". I'll be honest if he gave it over to writers with real love for the source material and a big budget we would get something way better. But I get it. He is a creative and it's his IP.

Facts the case is of a higher quality than the actual film.If I didn't know how bad this film the cover would make me think this is a good film.Its Amazing how lately great films have had bad covers but bad films have good ones.

I loved Spawn growing up. I bought the comic books, figures, and loved the HBO show. This movie was butt though. I may have been too hyped. Everything was just okay. The visuals were okay at the time, but they did not age well. The built dude that played Al Simmons just looked husky when they put makeup on him, and his cape which was a big part of his power was sparsely in it because it was expensive too animate. I know the HBO cartoon had a low frame rate, but it was WAY better.

This was like a several movies in the mid-90's: an ultimately forgettable movie that had a really cool soundtrack album
