Everything this company makes is awesome. I started putting my system together. It takes a little bit if you don't have the money, but eventually you'll get it done. I can't believe the difference I can hear already but you can't go wrong purchasing these as long as you have a receiver that can put clean power out.

Cant go wrong with Emotiva. I've been running T1 towers with a C2 center and have never felt the need to upgrade. Miles ahead of my old Polk Tsi400 towers

Everything is a bit of a stretch. All their speakers are generally well regarded. the amps are really where they out punch their class easily. I had owned many of their processors over the years and they were all generally pretty terrible products to own...very glitchy, weird issues that they could never resolve and don't have the R&D of the more well known brands to make them better from the start. Also typically well behind in terms of new tech in them as well. ultimately after many years and iterations of their devices I gave up and sold off all my emotiva gear.

I went on Emotiva's first offered company tour. They make awesome stuff and the tour was super interesting. At the end, they gave me a crazy discount since I was the first person to tour...and I didn't buy anything. It wasn't worth my wife killing me.

Yeah, I no longer have any interest in separates, but when I did many years ago, the general impression I got about Emotiva's electronics was that they looked cool but were less reliable than I'd want for that kind of money. So when Emotiva's passive speakers first came out in 2016 I wondered if the reason they were so crazily inexpensive and all had 4 ohm impedance specs, was simply to coax people into buying their amps which were not nearly as good in price-to-performance.

I have a full set of Emotiva speakers and they are absolutely incredible and I recommend them to anyone. I upgraded from some Polk Monitor 2 speakers and it was an absolute night and day difference.

Funny, I have their best speaker offerings from that first release and I already owned XPA amps before getting them.

Oh I'm well aware of that Andrew Robinson review and it did give me pause when the XT2 first came out, because he's one of the few YT speaker reviewers I have a high opinion of (most are obvious payola-driven shills). However, I have seen several folks on the "Emotiva Airmotiv Owenrs" thread on AVS get the XT2 and not experience what he described in the review. My conjecture is that like almost all reviewers, he evaluated the speakers in 2.0 mode and drove them to near- or at- reference levels (85db) which has no relevance to how most people will use them: crossed over to a subwoofer (almost a given if it's a home theater) and at non-deafening 60-75db.

Erin's Audio measured a bunch of their speakers but not this one. They mostly measure alright. Not so great centers.
