i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

So, looks like this time it's different from yrs past, where there is still a week or two AFTER the release to still get the $700 Extra

So that means nobody has a chance to get $700 off instantly in-store trade-in? That doesn't sound right, but the end date is 3/10/2026. It is what it is. Will they extend the date?

So just spoke with customer service. The rep seemed well informed on the deal with quick responses to questions.
Asked her if paying in full vs monthly how is the $700 promotional credit applied. Her response was that it is applied to your account once trade-in is processed, and that you can request the credit be put back on whatever form of auto payment you have on file once in account, whether a bank account or credit card. Expected this answer but her quick response to the question gave the impression that it was an informed answer.
Was comfortable with her answers so placed an order. Planning on keeping new phone unopened until trade in credit applied just to be sure but all things considered this is a smoking deal for sure.

they will. it was like this last year. They will update the promo length when 3/11 comes around.

I m having a dilemma. I am ready to switch to Spectrum Home internet along with two new port in lines for an extra $200 discount on each lines but I am skeptical about their trade in process. That said, I am not sure if there will be in-store offer if I don't want to order online, Not only that there won't be an extra $200 discount if they continue in-store offer.

Man, just realized the S26 is free with the trade in. I was between the plus and the ultra, now I'm thinking I get the S26 and trade it right back up. $400 and 600 more for the other two is crazy! Yes, I know 512 vs 256gb, but I'm at 126gb usage out of 256gb on my S22+ that I have had since launch, so that bonus memory instead of $200 off a base S26+/S26U is useless.

I was also told that for a new customer bring in a number will get $400 off on the first line, application to S26, S26+ or S26 ultra, on top of the double memory discount and $700 trade in discount. This $400 seems to be in line with the iphone 17e $400 new customer promo showing on their website.

Yes. They explicitly said with that promo the S26+ would be like "free". I left Spectrum to FIOS on December because of expiration of promo and FIOS gave me a better price overall. I will go back to Spectrum just for this S26 deal, especially with the $400 new customer promo. I forgot if they memtioned bring in 1 line or 2 lines, but only first line will get $400 credit.

Wonder if that means porting in one new line to add to my existing account or I have to be a new internet and mobile phone line customer?
