i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.
For the same line, I only trade-in when the previous trade-in was completed. Each time I got S26 and activated it. I then shelved it and moved my previous Moto phone back to the line. The deal ends 21st, so you got 10 days left.
Update, did 2 trade ins today per your instructions, on 2 lines. Only issue was the Moto G showed as 128 not the 64 gb, I think the tech chose Spectrum as the Mobile carrier for the trade in cause under Other carriers it shows the Moto G 5g 64 GB as eligible. But both still went thru and walked out with 2 S26 for mom and dad. Now i can spend hours helping them set up their phones while rocking my Note 9. Thanks again for all your help! My 80+ year old parents are gonna have phones that last them a long time. How are people getting multiple phones on a single line if the unlock period is 60 days?
No, you will not. If you click on the trade-in link from Assurant (the same link for shipping label), you would see the $700 offer get removed.
I tried to explain that to the CSR, and also that the IMEI matches. Can't even return now neither. Last year, it took me 6 months to resolve a credit problem.

What was the reason for adjusted value? Model doesn't match? I would say try to return it because the $700 credit is far fetch.
I have this message in the Spectrum portal. "Trade-In Offer Accepted Your trade-in offer was accepted for Phone. Check your email from Assurant for more details." Does this mean Assurant approved my trade in?

As a matter of fact, the phone doesn't need to be active on the single line all the time for 60 days in order for it to be unlocked. It just needs 60 days whether active or inactive after activation. Before request unlock, make sure the phone is already 60 days since activation and make that phone active on the line if it is not, then call to request unlock. It should be unlocked without issue, but if the agent gives you problem, then try different one. You can try requesting unlock from phone or chat. It is not always smooth process; so be prepared to deal with those agents. Last year I was denied at least 5 times of trying to request unlock for 5 S25 & 1 S25 Ultra devices under a single line.

I had that same message for days ( and still do right now), before I finally received email from Assurant.
Correct. When I was ordering, I called CSR and they told me as long as IMEI is accepted I should pick as close as possible, which was Moto G 2022.
I have heard that Assurant place is very easy on accepting the trade-in device. Holy cow... Any way, wait and see whether you can get $700 promotion or not; otherwise call to request a return of S26 because it was a super expensive price tag of S26 and if Spectrum denies, threat them that you will post complaint on FTC or consumer website or file a dispute on your credit report because it is unfair for not letting you to return the S26. I know they use a stupid 14 days return policy to deny the return and now Assurant is taking 10 business days to complete the trade-in device approval process; that is more than 14 days return window from the shipment date.

Ah man, I should have waited till today to get the S26+ for mom and dad.
Got 2 S26 yesterday paid, $200 each plus tax. Should I go in today and return both, pay the $50 restocking fee to get the $200 refunded and pick up the S26+?
This will work ok even though we did the $700 trade in yesterday?
