Can they be used for high school practice?
Sorry for the stupid question but i am new to the game and my kid wants to learn.
Firstly, this is regular price. And it's not even cheaper than going through rawlings own site.
With that out of the way, these are very plasticy balls as best i can put it. They don't try to pretend to be leather so I don't knock them for that but the amazon basics ball actually is cheaper and surprisingly much nicer imo. Those balls went on a lightning deal a couple months ago and it was like $1.50 or 1.60 a ball. Fine for practice but nothing close to a game ball.

I challenge you to show me this ball at $2.97 with free shipping on the Rawlings site, people make wild claims on threads all the time. Yet without a link and proof, always be skeptical.

If you're hung up on the free shipping, I think it's at $35 which any deal hunter knows is easy to hit, or just buy 2 units. Regardless, my recent experience was that I think your average joe blow coach looking for a budget ball will find the amazon basics better and cheaper. Wild I know... I had to try it out when the lightning deal came recently. (All these plastic balls are probably similarly made in China anyways.)

but how do you buy ONE for $2.97, they don't offer it and even if they did, shipping would kill it.
And if shipping is at $35, this is still the better deal because it's targeted to Walmart+ users who get free shipping no minimum.
