I managed to pickup one of these in person, but the link provided does still have it available for shipping.

I am not certain what is inside the shell, but the claimed transfer speeds are higher than what a sata bridge can handle.

Reviews seem positive. its around that 1TB/100 dollar ball park, though there are cheaper options available for external SSD's...

and unless someone needs the ruggedness, power consumption, or vibration resistance, there is still always the good old HDD.
