Oh, you mean at your place? The cost has just gone up airfare housing, etc - say 500 dollars a biscuit.
You guys are SO lazy. Learn to cook. The mcdonalds deal allows you to buy ONE biscuit, you can't feed a family on it, and you'll have to buy your drink, extras because you aren't home, spending 30 minutes to get there, check out, eat. While dealing with staff, and strangers. And I used to eat these. They are small, stale.
Meanwhile, I'm at home watching an enjoyable program in my pajamas, getting ready, and munching on good food, taking time with my family. Oh, and these reheat easily, and actually taste good cold too (unlike mcdonalds), so you can make a whole weeks worth at once, making your time spent even (a lot) less.
It's not about knowing how to cook, it's about convenience. That may not be a priority for you but you shouldn't judge other people for it.
You can get a better breakfast sandwich at home for hardly any time - here's how:
- bake 6 egg muffins in jumbo no stick pans - will be about 1 egg each to 8 eggs total. Thoroughly mix eggs, put in muffin pan, add a sprinkle of shredded cheese to each, and sprinkle of frozen - microwaved thawed - pepper onion mix. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 till done.
- Cook 6 slices of thin, regular bacon in oven for about 30 minutes.
- Cook a roll of store bought biscuits in oven - 12-15 minutes.
- Take out, put it all together, add a half slice of cheese to each, press together.
This doesn't cost much more than $1 each, and is far bigger and tastier. It takes 5 minutes of prep. and 30 minutes of cooking where you don't have to stand over it. 6 servings, or as many as you like and can fit in oven.
Alts:
1. Egg Muffins served by themselves.
2. Or replace biscuits with pancakes with blueberries mixed in (for a "mcgriddle"). fyi can also bake pancakes in oven with a little practice.
You can do better on cost if you were to mimic the actual sandwich that you would get in this deal. Ingredients:
Jimmy Dean Heat 'n Serve Original Breakfast Sausage Patties - 26 ct Frozen: $6.99
Giant Brand Light Original English Muffins - 6 ct: $2.69
Giant Brand Deli White American Cheese (Regular Sliced) (20 slices per pound): $4.00
Giant Brand Large White Eggs: $1.79
Sausage: $.27
English muffin: $.22
Cheese: $.20
Egg: $.15
Cheapest I'm getting is $.84 per sandwich.
But your fallacy isn't accounting for energy, water, cooking materials, and most important - TIME.

Please advise which zip code and store location so I can verify this. Minimum additional purchase?
Maybe you meant the Sausage McMuffin?
Both the OP and FP Deal editor have that in in attached pictures incorrectly!
So, also, the 5-minutes prep. Plus the grocery shopping part, the energy cost, and don't forget the clean-up.
We pay for the convenience. $1 for this is a steal, if you like them. I may venture out in the freezing rain just for a couple of these, My wife also has the app.
Some "Egg McMuffin Day" what a joke
