In case anyone doesn't know (I didn't), this is the 2024 version. The new 2025 version has an M5 chip. But it's also $2399 vs $1299 same exact specs. Benchmark for M5 is only 11.7% faster so definitely not worth nearly double.

What did you guys not like about the coating? I picked up the 1TB nano and thought it was insanely good. The craazy thing is using it literally anywhere other than a dark room and having 90-95%+ peak OLED performance.

Been this price since last November-ish.
Contemplating to pull the trigger thinking this price may never be possible for next few generations due to increasing price of ram and other parts...

Lots of ipads spend their lives on the couch or otherwise nearly 100% in the house. Once you get used to that glossy screen oled performance it's hard to take any step back.

Kills me because the 2tb at this price would be an insta buy for me without the nano glass. Apple's markup for storage is absurd and I doubt that is going to get any better with all the shortages going on.

The title of this says 2TB, and the link is to 2TB and price is 2TB. BUT the specs in the description says 1TB storage. may want to update that for clarity.

It also says 5G modem in specs. that's not ideal if its WIFI only.

The nano vs regular is so overblown. I was anti-nano until I bit on the $1099 1TB WiFI + Cellular at Costco a few weeks ago, thinking I'd return it after "test driving" it, but I personally love it.

I have both and can confirm they are nearly identical. Although the new one has very minor improvements so not completely identical, but none of these are truly significant or vital, besides processor speed. Note: if this is on your wish list, you must get 1TB or 2TB to get the 16gb ram.

Same here. I actually love the way it feels to touch. It's softer and more natural to drag your finger across it. I would be certain to use a cover when you store it or throw it in a bag just to prevent damage. You get some softer colors in bright rooms, but way less glare, and you still get the 100% blacks in dark rooms. Best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned.
