In case anyone doesn't know (I didn't), this is the 2024 version. The new 2025 version has an M5 chip. But it's also $2399 vs $1299 same exact specs. Benchmark for M5 is only 11.7% faster so definitely not worth nearly double.

What did you guys not like about the coating? I picked up the 1TB nano and thought it was insanely good. The craazy thing is using it literally anywhere other than a dark room and having 90-95%+ peak OLED performance.

Been this price since last November-ish.
Contemplating to pull the trigger thinking this price may never be possible for next few generations due to increasing price of ram and other parts...

Heard the nano glass sucks from many people. That being said this thing has the upgraded 16gb ram which is a plus

I bought the 1tb with the coating and I love it. The reduced glare is awesome, particularly when using outside or in the car.

Yeah. I missed the $1099 1TB 13" nano cellular deal. I bit at this price but could see it falling lower still. Apparently the nano is polarizing.

I think the 1tb is out of stock. Not much m4 available from Costco. Seems like clearance pricing

I just ordered this for $1500 from costco about 2 weeks ago. Costco will refund the difference if the price drops within 30 days. They gave me $200 back.

That's the usual uncharge for cellular. I've bought cellular since the OG iPad and my current has it, but I've never used it. Since the major cell cos allow hot spotting overseas now equivalent to your domestic plan it's more convenient to just do that rather than buy a foreign eSIM. The only reason I see to buy a cellular version in 2026 is if you massive amounts of data and need a separate iPad plan. But I doubt most people do unless they are watching movies all day.

Still rocking my 13" M1 Pro. Hoping this will come down in price a bit. Then maybe it will be time for an upgrade.

The iPad Pro screens are a double edged sword. The regular glass is glare prone, but you can put a glass screen protector on it. The nano glass is easier to use in bright conditions and also Pencil use is more natural feeling but the colors are less vivid than regular glass and you can't put a protector on it.

So it really depends on what your use case and top priority is.
