I have heard of tire shops refusing to repair a tire that has had this goop applied. They say it's too hard to clean it all out and apply a permanent plug when it's all gooped up. Also it presents problems on the low noise tires that are common on EVs since they have "acoustic foam" inside that soaks up the goo, and then it's now impossible to properly balance the tire. So be aware that using this goo may make your tire hard to get repaired.

this here, a key point that people don't think about.

I was going to comment that tire shops don't like to deal with tires that have been filled with slime, or any other goop. But, in newer cars, that is the "spare tire".

I've used this on bicyle tubes, normally you can patch a tube many times using the original vulvaning bike patch kits..
When slime is used the tube had to be tossed.
Maybe ask your tire shop if you have high end tire

These are shops that are too lazy to use a wet rag. Find a better one.

Using a patch/tire plug kit kit sounds easy but if you cant see the nail/puncture then you get to lift car, put air in tire, spray soapy water, rotate tire and look for bubbles...

Best is spare tire. Or decent air compressor and fill tire hoping it holds enough air to get home or shop.

It's a fix-a-flat kit, of course it is temporary. Go to your local tire shop to get it permanently fixed for free (most places patch tires free of charge these days).
I thought you meant someone fixes bike tires for free.

About $10 off the regular price on Amazon according to Keepa.

DO NOT USE - repeat DO NOT USE if you ever want to repair your tire. My Mercedes had something similar to this that came with the car, and it ended up literally destroying the inside of the tire, and the shop needed to put a new tire on. $500 later, I was fine, vs had I just gotten AAA to take me there and patch me up, it would've been max $40....

Plug in kit cost less than $10 and DIY. Using this and then finding a shop that is willing to deal with the slime when you have a flat, I think not. Most people will just want the flat tire fix ASAP instead of calling several shops. I am sure some shops will fix this but it's gonna cost ya.
