Really challenging and fun game. No need to be familiar with any of the other games. It's hard as dark souls / elden ring (same developers). If you frustrate easily, don't get it.

You'll need to customize your loadout carefully to gain the upper hand against different enemies. You can't just keep adding new parts to your mech and expect to max out firepower, speed, and everything else. The game forces you to make trade-offs and do some calculations on your own.
You could go all out and create an Excel sheet, but you don't need to be super precise to win. Trusting your instincts and practicing also works.
