The DeWalt brushless with battery for $90 is a better deal and is a better tool imo. The blade kit and spare battery aren't worth the extra $50.

Unless you already have all Rigid tools with their LSA.

I know Rigid tools aren't the best but I've never had one fail and battery swapability is huge.

no it's not. They had the newer version with 2 4.0 Ah battery for the same price from November to January.

FYI...this is Rigid's previous generation brushed multi-tool and it is hot garage. The current generation Rigid brushless multi-tool is actually extremely good. Pro Tool Reviews did a comparison of multi-tools and brushless Rigid came in first or near the top in all categories. The Rigid Brushless, Flex, and Milwaukee M18 Fuel came out on top. The nice thing about the Rigid is the trigger, which I've found to be a greater on my Dewalt XR. I also have the Flex, which has a lot more power than the Dewalt and less vibration. I still find myself grabbing the Dewalt more often as it takes the cheaper universal blades and I can bring myself to waste a Starlock blade on a quick job. Btw, if you get the Dewalt, make sure to get the XR and not the Atomic version. They Atomic version is worse but sells for a high price for some reason. I also tried the M12 Fuel because it had great reviews, I found it to be very underpowered and the blade change took a lot longer. Every time I tried to make a plunge cuts into hardwood, it would stop and enter heat protection mode. I tried a cp 2.0, cp 2.5 HO, xc 4.0 and 5.0 HO, same thing with all of the batteries. I thought I got a lemon, so I exchanged it and had the same probably. The new had an additional issue with the battery compartment being so tight, I had to pull the battery out with pliers.
