This is actually a fun controller. We bought one last time around. Powe A does make some pretty decent hardware. Nintendo makes a Switch 2 one that is $100 but has a few more features like a rechargeable battery.

In my research: these do not have analog triggers like OG GameCube controllers. Most people say it works alright with Dolphin, as long as your gameplay doesn't rely on analog triggers. It should be recognized as a Switch Pro controller by PC/Mac. Wish it were rechargeable and/or had a wired connection option, but at this price it's hard to complain.

Jeez that seems like a huge miss to not have the analogue triggers. Thanks for the info, I was going to consider picking it up at this price but I will stick with just my retrofighters.

These get stick drift so easily. Power A is the only brand I have experienced the dreaded stick drift with and it's been a few controllers between this form factor and their regular controller

Don't waste time with this, you can spend a little more and get one of the best controllers I have ever used (I have about 50 controllers at my house for all different devices) The NYXI Warrior is amazing, build quality, functionality, you can use it on Switch, iOS, PC, bluetooth anything, Android, etc. AND it even works on Wii and Gamecube with included adapter. This controller doesn't have analog triggers. Not suitable for games like Super Mario Sunshine where that functionality is needed.

I use these cheap wired ones and they do have analog triggers.
