read the 1 star amazon reviews and note they are 17% of the buyers
(which is a bit on the high side, you want negative feedback on items in the single digit range not double digit)

dont buy this version, it has a design flaw. the usb connection breaks and it drops out... the new 8k version fixed the issue. STAY AWAY...i warrantied 4 of these in one year, same problem every time
