Ryobi's PCL720K is a cordless stick vacuum that shines for quick cleanups, especially if you already have Ryobi batteries. It gets praise for swapping batteries easily, handling hardwood, rugs, stairs, pet hair, and occasional car or garage messes, and the included battery makes the clearance price feel especially strong. The main tradeoffs are weight, a small bin, and limited deep cleaning on carpet, with some reports of static shocks and attachment gaps like no hose. A handy floor vacuum if you want battery compatibility and simple grab and go use.

Just what I needed. 5 at my local store in Flushing, Queens, NY. All hiding on top stock. Luckily the inventory and location within store listed on website was correct. This is great for the occasional clean up in the car. The shop vac in garage was too cumbersome. Plus I have a quasi room in the garage for hobby tinkering. This will be useful for the occasional vacuuming of the floor.

Got one here this afternoon in North Plano. Inventory shows 1, but 2 are on the shelf. Get one home and compare it with the Shark stick vacuum I have. This base model is a little bit heavier and weaker, but it should still work for me. Easy swap batteries for what I already have is a big advantage.
It is a great deal with the battery and charger.

I have this 'cuum. It's good. However, three cons: the bin is fairly small to do a whole house. You'll need to empty 2-3x if doing a single carpeted floor (I got one trusty dog). Next, the damn thing sends rapid-fire static shocks into my hand in the winter. Lastly, it's hefty with a 4ah battery, with 90% of its weight near your hand/wrist. A slim 2ah batt makes it more manageable. My wife does complain that it's heavy to twist to get around corners. I sympathize. All said, my brawny wrists are OK with it and I enjoy not having a house full of heterogenous batteries, etc. If you need a floor vac and you're flush with Ryobi batts, go for it. It does suck.

Good for vacuuming light dust, sawdust type stuff off a hard floor. This isn't going to clean a carpet. I wouldn't get it unless you need it for a shop with no carpet but I imagine most people would have a shopvac for that. This thing does suck, no pun intended. It is bad.

Damn, none anywhere near OKC. I kinda wish DeWalt made one. I've got tons of their tools and batteries and being able to use those instead of waiting for an internal battery to recharge would be super convenient.
Use this adapter with this vacuum for your Dewalt batteries

i got this on clearance 6 months ago at Home Depot. the clearance price then was 49.00 for this item. I replaced two old Dysons where the batteries died. Not sure i would pay the current clearance price but for 49.00 they are very good and similar to the Dysons
Clearance? Does your Home Depot not carry it anymore? Or was it just a very similar, but slightly older model?

It was on sale a couple months ago at our HD for $100, but that was tool-only.

My 81 years old can't handle the Ryobi weight but Dyson is light enough for her. I prefer Dyson for a small quick clean up because of the weight too.
This is so true I am only 42. If you can definetly feel the weight compared to a Dyson or other. I just bought a bissell from Costco and after doing the floor area, I am returning the Ryobi.

Picked this up yesterday for $115. Since it's the lowest-tier model, I was a little skeptical given that I already have a Dyson V6 (with Ryobi adapter) and V10.

But at this price, battery included, it was too compelling to ignore. The vacuum head is about 20% smaller than the Dyson, which actually turned out to be a plus. It fits into spots where the Dyson can't reach unless I swap to a smaller attachment. The biggest upgrade over my Dysons is the built-in light, which Dyson only added on newer and more expensive models. With the light on, you can see way more dust and debris. The default power level seems perfect for tile or hardwood floors. On carpet it's a bit strong, so I just tap the button to lower the power. It's noticably heavier than the Dyson and feels somewhat top-heavy. I'd say the weight is similar to the Bissell FurFinder, which also has a large battery. Debris that can wrap around the rotating brush tends to get stuck fairly often though, similar to the Bissell. The Dyson almost never jams.

Overall, very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

The price at a store near me dropped to $53. Still had one left after I bought the other Store #3641 (W-S, NC). Probably not many left around in stores though.

It paid off being too lazy to go to when it was $115!

For real heavy duty I still drag out the Kirby but they are heavy that I bought one for each floor so I don't have to carry it upstairs LOL Nothing beat that suction power.
