Online co-op works if your friend also owns the Steam version of MCC. The Steam/PC versions have no split-screen co-op, though.

Anyone have recent experience with this and Steam Deck? The ProtonDB posts on this game are a roller coaster, from works perfectly to crashes due to a wide variety of things, so I'm curious if anyone can verify that issues are fixed, or if it's still a bit of a crapshoot.

I travel for work and religiously bring my steam deck with me. You can run this game on max settings across the board and it will stay at 90 fps if you have an oled. One of the most stable and fun to play games when I travel.
