They won't give you the rebate. Look at all the recent posts on other thread. They play games, make up random problems that didn't happen and make you wait months

Edit: Some of you replied you keep screenshots and always get yours. I'm not new to this. I've done it before also. This time they really put up a fight and gaslighted me. They even resubmitted my rebate and created a new entry ID offer after the one I applied for was supposedly ineligible, the new one is currently still pending after two weeks. I signed up beginning of Dec....

Agreed! Shitty ass practices! Verizon is the same, never got my free Meta Quest 3S. Returned the gateway and they still charged me for the service and the gateway! Customer service is awful, they don't do their job, they say they'll get everything fixed and just keep you on hold!

Are you talking about the Simple Choice plan? What hidden fees and tax are you talking about?
IDK about that plan, but I was on the Unlimited 55+ plan with a flat rate of $60/mo for 2 lines for years until I took the gift card bait and decided to try their 5G Home Internet service, which required my mobile plan to update to a newer version they had available in their system, which they said had all the same features and same rate, and now my Essentials 55+ plan has $11.29 of taxes and fees added on top of it every month, even after I got rid of the 5G Home Internet. ☹️

I received my rebate (as a prepaid visa card) without any issues. I was worried it was a scam initially as well. They required me to fill out a separate form to request the rebate and then it took about 2.5 months from when I filled out the form to when I actually received my prepaid visa card - but it was real!
When did you submit the rebate? I see you said about 2.5 months to receive but I'm curious when this was.

I've had them since they started with the 25 a month plan. Thankfully I'm grandfathered in with that price. I'm in the north suburbs of Chicago. I get plenty of speed for 3 streaming devices, 4 phones, one iPad and laptop

I tried the service for 10 days. Most of the time it was fast and reliable. Occasionally the speed will drop off and disconnect. For now, I need a reliable signal so I am keeping cable. I will re-evaluate in six months.

Meanwhile. My trial cost me nothing because I used a promo code.

My account shows a credit balance. However I have received a collection notice for the first month which should have been free and an email balance due notice for half a month of service, which makes zero sense.

Be warned.

In the rebate form, it asks Phone number as last thing. Is it my existing phone number or the new phone number assigned to Home Internet?
The form says "Choose the phone number you would like to send the reward to." so it needs to be my existing T-Mobile cell phone number but in the FAQ it shows the new line number for Home Internet.
It's your existing phone number, not the home internet phone number.

I submitted it on 1/2/26. The confirmation text I received back after submitting the rebate said to "allow 14 weeks from fulfilment of offer requirements", as well as a link to track status and your tracking ID code.
Edit to also add that this was not for this specific T-Mobile deal, but for their 5G home internet deal offered back in December. It was a $200 prepaid Visa card at the time for $40/month internet. So this is definitely a much better deal than what I got then!

Thanks for reply.
There is no any other thing on the form that ties it to the home internet account, or is there anything associated with the home internet on the form?

And before submiting, should i take a screenshot? Is that the thing we need to document only?

My current home Internet is Spectrum and has lower latency than 5g on the phone (I have simple choice if that matters). Just wondering if 5g home Internet has similar latency or better than phone plans.
My tmobile 5g in my phone is a bit better than the 5g home (all in package). Ping is 19-20 in home int, 16-17 in my phone. Maybe it would be different if i connect my computer via cable intead of my phone via wifi. I will try computer via cable tomorrow.

I believe they required me to sign into my T-Mobile account in order to submit a rebate to begin with. The sign in should be enough to tie it to your home internet account. I used my existing phone number cuz there are other family members on our phone plan, so wanted the rebate going back to me and not someone else on the plan since I'm paying for the internet. The existing phone number is also needed so they can text you the confirmation for the rebate submission and the tracking number.
A screenshot of what you filled out probably doesn't hurt to grab, but they do send you a tracking link after submission too. Hope that helps, and good luck!

Home internet used to have no taxes and fees and thats now changed. It shouldn't affect your phone service plan though so its strange they made them switch their plan. Best to reach out before getting if on a plan that has taxes included.

geforce now has nothing to do with latency. the difference between 5g and a wired connection is with games, you need a CONSTANT connection. games actually transmit very little data so it doesnt need to be fast but it needs to be constant. 5g is not constant and you will get lag all the time. it's acceptable if you only play for fun but if you play competitively, it would be enraging.

GeForce now is extremely sensitive to latency. It's one of the most, if not the most sensitive services out there. It also needs constant speed..it transmits more data than Netflix and needs constant low, stable latency.
