They won't give you the rebate. Look at all the recent posts on other thread. They play games, make up random problems that didn't happen and make you wait months

Edit: Some of you replied you keep screenshots and always get yours. I'm not new to this. I've done it before also. This time they really put up a fight and gaslighted me. They even resubmitted my rebate and created a new entry ID offer after the one I applied for was supposedly ineligible, the new one is currently still pending after two weeks. I signed up beginning of Dec....

Agreed! Shitty ass practices! Verizon is the same, never got my free Meta Quest 3S. Returned the gateway and they still charged me for the service and the gateway! Customer service is awful, they don't do their job, they say they'll get everything fixed and just keep you on hold!

$20/month for me in Utah with auto pay. For that price it's worth it as Comcast has been going down multiple times a week for over a month.

I ordered All-in internet a few months ago. Monthly fee was $50 (no tax). I lowered the plan to Rely and now I am getting charged tax. Tmo customer service says that All-in price includes tax, whereas Rely plan doesn't include tax. Is this correct? Anyone observed the same? Thanks

Update:

All new 5G Home Internet plans (including All‑In, Rely, and Amplified) now advertise the monthly rate "plus taxes and fees", meaning the base price does not include taxes, and taxes/fees are charged separately on the bill.

T‑Mobile removed tax‑inclusive pricing for all new 5G Home Internet plans as of August 6, 2025, so both All‑In and Rely plans are now tax‑exclusive for new customers.

The above makes sense since I had All-in plan starting June 2025. I downgraded the plan to Rely a couple of months ago.

If you still have an old, grandfathered-in mobile plan that charges a flat rate with no hidden taxes and fees (I think they all used to, years ago), then keep in mind that adding T-Mobile Home Internet to it, even just for one month, will update your plan and start charging you the taxes and fees on top your regular rate. I learned this the hard way and wasn't warned before signing up, and I wish I'd never gotten tempted into trying them out for the $200 gift card a couple years ago. 😔

On top of that, they've raised their rates for existing customers without a price lock twice in the past couple years. They're taking advantage of our decrease in affordable major carrier options after they bought Sprint however they can.

I can only get the "light" version on my area. Does anyone know if that's any good? My current provider isn't the best.

This is like a timeshare- Easy to get into, a crazy hassle to get out of.
That is not true. I had T-Mobile home internet for 4 months and with one quick phone call I was able to cancel the service. I was a little disappointed there was no attempt in retention when I said the local cable company was offering 1gig for $50.

It's great unless you use phone calls over the internet like the Ooma phone service. Then it's not so good...the calls break up alot...at least they did for me. Other than that, the speed was pretty good.
Its not great at all. Especially with cameras on wifi, multiple tvs and phones etc. Like most houses having a fair amount of stuff on wife. Its absolute garbage. You probably have 1 Roku and a phone and live in a 1 bedroom shack.

How is the latency with T-Mobile 5g Internet? On my phone, 5g tends to be noticeably slower when initially loading something compared to wifi
By "wifi" you mean "internet"?

Are you talking about the Simple Choice plan? What hidden fees and tax are you talking about?

My current home Internet is Spectrum and has lower latency than 5g on the phone (I have simple choice if that matters). Just wondering if 5g home Internet has similar latency or better than phone plans.

In the rebate form, it asks Phone number as last thing. Is it my existing phone number or the new phone number assigned to Home Internet?
The form says "Choose the phone number you would like to send the reward to." so it needs to be my existing T-Mobile cell phone number but in the FAQ it shows the new line number for Home Internet.

This would be enticing if the rebate wasn't a scam, except it is a scam. So, no.
I received my rebate (as a prepaid visa card) without any issues. I was worried it was a scam initially as well. They required me to fill out a separate form to request the rebate and then it took about 2.5 months from when I filled out the form to when I actually received my prepaid visa card - but it was real!

I got the rebate and have been on the $30 plan now for a few years. We are moving to Atlanta so does anyone know the move policy? I recall that it was easy but don't remember the details. Thanks.
