These styles are Asian-fit: Ilikea, Honua.
Opio is 'Large' fit, whatever that is.

They are all hyping the product, or signaling having made a purchase. Very suspicious and unusual type of discussion compared to any other thread. Very obvious attempt to influence people to buy.

It is all about the advertising and making people spend money.

Pass...still sporten oakleys haha!
Used to buy Oakley's but every single time a bit after 1.5 to 2 years they develop peeling. I have a pair of Maui's for 10 years that are still going strong. Never buy Oakley's again.

But to those like R@VEN who no longer like Maui's who do they recommend. I tried Costas for the first time and was very disappointed. Worried some of these newer Maui's are not as good.

I absolutely still like Maui's. I just prefer the vintage models pre 2015. If you were going to buy brand new sunglasses I would recommend Serengeti with glass lenses.

"Trash" laugh out loud

Been buying Mauis over the last 20 years. Have purchased 9 pair within' the last 18 months, 7 for personal use, two pair as gifts. All are either made in Italy or Japan.
Zero change in the quality since they were purchased by the French company.
Me I got my first pair of MJs in the late 1980s right from the original store. Wish I had the same experience as you but I did not. The pair I got broke easier than a $9 pair from the drug store. This was a $270 pair by the way.

Maui Jim are absolutely the pinnacle of sunglasses. It's like looking through God's eyes. I got a pair from this company a month ago with no issues
God loves the 1990's.

Have always been a fan of MJs. Sometimes you can find good deals at Costco as well.

Well, that is unfortunate, but as long as they are made in Japan, they are still good. The ones made in Italy are crap now.
