Wow that seems slick af. A really solid PC that can game and also makes a great workstation.

$250 - Ryzen 7900
$600 - 5070:
$300 - 32 GB RAM
$ 60 - 1 TB NVME
===
$1210

Case and mobo and PSU basically free.

There really isn't a better CPU out there at the moment. The 9900 is only slightly faster and the extra 4 cores from the 7950 or 9950 are only important if you're doing really hardcore multi-threaded work.

The other deal on the rtx 4070 for 250$ less than this doesn't look like that much of a deal compared to this. The problem is... it's Acer. What motherboard is being used? What power supply? What brand memory? What brand SSD? Is it a OEM spec gpu? That's my only gripe with pre built gaming computers. They can have some of the most shockingly bottom of the barel versions of components inside.

But does it matter much if one wants to use the PC as it is? I don't think one would find something with better performance in that price range right now.
