This is a new release so MSRP is expected. Also this is 2TB. 1TB model was 1449 at Best Buy but it is 1899 now. Panther Lake models will be released this month and the next. Acer will be the cheapest among all, likely.

this is a membership only site so tough luck if you don't have a member in your family or intend to become one.. but this is the cheapest way to get an arcb390 and panther lake in a new 16" laptop. the Best buy deal is over and although still available there it has been raised to 1900$.
the xps 16" equivalent to this is like 2300$+ still I believe..

Good deal. I wanted to get the new XPS 14 for size and weight but it's $600 more than this for an equivalent configuration...

thanks! i was lucky to snag the 1tb from bby when it was still around 1500$ but this one has an even larger hdd for the same price. these things are going up in value with the scarcity of panther lake! if you don't like it just treat it as an investment or get rid of it.. I love mine though.

I was worried about that as well.. its hard to really tell much of a difference between 1200p and 2.5k (1800p ?) imho. the iGPU can't really properly fill its refresh 120hz / 120fps minimum's (in games) much past 1200p anyway.. plus you get a tiny bit extra battery life from the lower resolution so all in all really not a dealbreaker

Your deal was a repost that was merged into this thread that was posted first, nothing malicious, sorry if it seemed that way.

1. It's only 140ppi. You need to go above 250 ppi before you can't tell.

2. This isn't a gaming pc
