From the discription: "In a certain light color, such as a cold color, long-press and hold the "light" button for 2-3 seconds to adjust the brightness of the light. If you want to lower the brightness, press and hold the button for 2-3 seconds again. Note: This product does not have a memory function. Purchased about a month back and used only a handful of times, no issues.
I see ppl say they'll use it for the charging ports which I didn't think about but might as well when the light goes out. I like the 3 preset colors to cycle through
