Been useing these for a few months my previous ones grinded from the top and were activated by being flipped. Plus and minuses to both designs. They are skinny at the base which makes them prone to being tipped easily if you are clumsy when setting them down. But they don't start grinding when ending up on the side so thats a plus. Batteries last so long i don't even remember when was the last time i charged them, and i rather have closed rechargeables compared to replacing 4AA every few weeks, even with recheargeable batteries the salt and pepper tends to get into all of the crevices. These still look new after months of use.

Seems to be a ceramic grinding core? Shouldn't leak much plastic with that

These are much better in terms of design because they dispense from the bottom, unlike other grinders that are automatic when you flip them upside down. The problem with those other grinders is that there is always a mix-up of leftover ground pepper back into the whole peppers, making them stale.

Code worked, ( black and silver) in my cart, then I decided another color and code didn't work on either color. Changed to my wife's account and worked on the black for me. Defiantly a funky code, not sure why worked then no worked,,, but worked. Try using the posted link and go right to check out, Good Luck .
