Thanks for clarifying the part on the LSA - I wasn't aware they would be covered. We used to have a Direct Tools near us but it's no longer around. I signed up for text/email and got a free shipping code. Thanks again!

Actually Rigid LSA site has clarification regarding Direct Tools because I only buy Rigid cause of their LSA lol this sounds like too much of a hassle so I'll stick to buying new.

Please Note: If this product was purchase 'Reconditioned' or 'AS-IS', it is not eligible for coverage under the RIDGID Lifetime Service Agreement. If this product was purchase 'New' or 'Blemished', LSA Registration must be completed by following the instructions below:
To complete the LSA registration process, please complete one of the following within 90 days of purchase for processing and approval:
Mail the following information to RIDGID:
  1. Original Receipt (keep a copy for your records)
  2. Print out of the online confirmation page displayed at the end of the registration process showing your Customer ID Number

Mine came today and appeared to be brand new. Is going to cost me $5 to send in the paperwork for the LSA (they suggested certified mail, it's cheaper for me to use PirateShip as an envelope). Kinda annoying but it is what it is.
